Domestic production of TM ProVET veterinary drugs is a wide range of affordable, high-quality and effective drugs manufactured using modern technologies in accordance with international quality standards.
One of the key aspects in the manufacture of veterinary drugs is the quality of their constituent components, that is, raw materials (active and auxiliary substances).
Active substances in the composition of the veterinary drug ensure its therapeutic effect.
Excipients perform various functions depending on the release form and purpose of the drug.
Excipients provide the technological possibility of obtaining certain drugs in a certain dosage form or therapeutic system, and also determine their stability during the established time. The quality of the finished veterinary drug depends on the quality of the active and auxiliary substances. That is why the company pays great attention to the selection of raw material suppliers and their control.
Procurement and incoming control of raw materials is one of the main components of the quality assurance system in the production of TM ProVET veterinary drugs.
Ensuring the high quality of raw materials is implemented at the expense of approval and control of suppliers, supply chain and quality control of each batch of raw materials.
- Approval and control of suppliers
We carefully select, evaluate and approve all raw material suppliers. The level of supervision of suppliers is set in proportion to the risks associated with individual types of raw materials (taking into account the source, technology, supply chain and use in the finished veterinary drug). The main criteria for choosing suppliers are the quality of raw materials, country of origin, availability of documents. We approve suppliers based on the results of a survey/audit. All suppliers provide a set of necessary documents in accordance with current legislation (quality certificate, Drug Master File (DMF)/ Technical Document – a document containing a complete list of data on the active substance, certificates of conformity, etc.).
- Supply chain approval and control
For production, we use raw materials obtained only from approved suppliers and through an approved supply chain. That is, transportation is carried out in accordance with established requirements and does not adversely affect the quality of raw materials.
- Raw material quality control
We carry out quality control of each batch of raw materials in our own certified laboratory. Control is carried out for compliance with the requirements of current international pharmacopoeias, including the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine. Pharmacopoeias at the legislative level establish requirements for quality testing. All types of raw materials and materials, regardless of their purpose, must meet the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia and internal specifications. The transfer of raw materials to production is carried out only after the permission of the quality department based on the received control results.
