PROFILINE drops KEEP CALM for cats and dogs 10 ml

PROFILINE KEEP CALM is a calming agent for dogs and cats in the form of drops, containing phenibut and herbal extracts. It is designed to reduce excitation and correct behavioral disorders associated with stress, phobias, aggression, and increased sexual arousal. Effective for stress prevention and motion sickness syndrome. Veterinary consultation is required before use.

Composition and pharmacological features

1 ml of the product contains the active ingredient: phenibut - 100 mg. Excipients: glycerin, povidone K-30, valerian root liquid extract, stinging nettle leaves liquid extract, motherwort herb liquid extract; "cream" flavoring, aspartame, sodium benzoate, purified water.

The course of treatment lasts 15-20 days. In case of signs of strong agitation and psychogenic behavioral disorders (aggression, fear, hyperactivity, excessive vocalization (barking, meowing), hypersexual behavior, urine marking), the course can be extended up to 4 weeks.

For stress prevention (change of environment, participation in competitions, transportation), the product should be administered 3-5 days before the events and for 1-4 days after their completion.

To prevent motion sickness, administer a single daily dose of the product 1 hour before transportation. If pronounced symptoms of motion sickness (vomiting) occur, the product becomes less effective.

For behavior correction in cases of increased sexual activity, PROFILINE KEEP CALM is used at the same doses in combination with contraceptive medications. The duration of the course depends on the individual sensitivity of the animals and the degree of their excitability.

Contraindication

Do not use in pregnant and lactating animals! Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the product's components (including in medical history). Acute and chronic renal failure, diabetes!

Precautions: If the product gets on the skin or mucous membranes of the animal's eyes, rinse them with plenty of running water. When used concurrently with tranquilizers, neuroleptics, and anticonvulsants, the product enhances and prolongs their effects. In rare cases, some animals may experience drowsiness or increased irritability, nausea, and allergic reactions. In such cases, discontinue use of the product and prescribe symptomatic and desensitizing therapy.

Storage conditions

Store the product in the manufacturer's closed packaging in a dry place inaccessible to children and animals, separate from food and feed, at a temperature of 5 to 25°C.

Application method

The product is administered orally to animals individually, twice a day, forcibly on the root of the tongue at the following doses:

For cats - 1 drop of the product (equivalent to 5 mg of phenibut) per 1 kg of body weight;
For dogs - 2 drops of the product (equivalent to 10 mg of phenibut) per 1 kg of body weight.
