Moxidectin belongs to the second generation of macrocyclic lactones of the milbemycin group. When applied topically, it is absorbed into the bloodstream, evenly distributing throughout the body. This component effectively eliminates both mature specimens of roundworms and their larval stages, and is also active against Dirofilaria immitis larvae. Prevention and treatment of animals infested with fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), sarcoptiform mites (Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati, Sarcoptes canis), trombidiform mites (Demodex spp.); prevention of dirofilariasis (effective against larvae at L3 and L4 stages of Dirofilaria immitis).

Composition and pharmacological features

1 ml of the product contains the active ingredients: imidacloprid - 100 mg; moxidectin - 10 mg. Excipients: propylene carbonate, dimethyl sulfoxide, citric acid, polyethylene glycol - 400.

Application

It is administered to cats weighing up to 4 kg and ferrets - 0.4 ml - 1 pipette. The duration of action of the product is 4 weeks.

Contraindication

Apply the product only to unbroken skin surface.

When treating animals, avoid getting the product in the eyes or mouth. Do not allow recently treated animals to contact other animals.
When working with the product, follow basic hygiene and safety rules adopted when working with veterinary products.
Frequent use of shampoo after treating animals reduces the effectiveness of the product.
If side effects occur, wash off the product with water and shampoo and, on the advice of a veterinarian, use an alternative veterinary medicine.
Do not use concurrently with other antiparasitic macrocyclic lactones.

Application method

Apply the product topically only. Part the animal's hair at the base of the skull to expose the skin. Place the narrow end of the pipette on the skin, firmly squeeze the pipette several times, and apply the entire contents directly onto the skin. Apply the product to unbroken skin. For otodectosis, notoedric mange, sarcoptic mange and demodicosis, treat 2-3 times at 10-day intervals. Do not bathe animals for 48 hours after treatment with the product.
